SKHMC (Sonajirao Kshirsagar Homoeopathic Medical College ) is a popular Homoeopathic Medical college, as it is known for the post Graduation in many specialties. The college serves with great number of Post Graduates, representing with good strength of Alumni.

         Mrs. Kesharbai Kshirsagar, a Member of Parliament for three sittings with good social profile was interested in education, established many educations. She founded Adarsh Shikshan Sanstha, to serve homoeopathy through this institution in 1974 and to popularize homoeopathy in Marathwada region. Diploma in Homoeopathic Medicine and surgery was started initially and later BHMS was introduced in 1986.

       The college is affiliated to the Maharastra Government, Board and Central Council for Homoeopathy, New Delhi. Intially the college was affiliated to the Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathrvada University and later the government. The courses related to the Health Sciences had been transferred and affiliated to Maharastra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. The college has introduced post Graduation courses M.D. (Hom.) in Materia Medica, Hom. Philosophy and Repertory form the 1994.

     The infrastructure is good with its own building in the heart of the city, equipped with modern facilities.The college can be reached by road from Aurangabad about 125 KM, from Solapur 185KM. Aurangabad is connected with air route. Dr.Arun Bhasme, Vice president, Central Council for Homoeopathy serves as principal to this college.
