Homoeopaths to be treated at par with Allopaths
 

      BHUBANESWAR.DEC.28: Health and family welfare minister Prasanna Acharya addressing the two-day National Homoeopathic Seminar on ‘Homoeopathy in Neurological Disorders’ said that the state government has taken all possible steps to treat the homoeopathic and ayurvedic doctors at a par with their allopathic counterparts.

      While releasing the souvenir of the seminar, said that homoeopathy is like nanotechnology, every particle of which is intended not only to cure diseases of all kinds but also to treat the patient as well, unlike allopathy.

      Prof (Dr) Laxmikanta Nanda , principal-cum-superintendent of Dr Abhinna Chandra Homeopathy College and Hospital welcomed the guests and the dignitaries,Prof (Dr) Ajit Kulkarni and Prof (Dr) Praful Vijaykar, were the chief speakers. Prof (Dr) Chaturbhuja Nayak, Director General, CCRH, New Delhi, in his keynote address said that the Homoeopathic Act was passed in Odisha at a time when there was no such Act available in the Government of India.

      He informed that a large number of schemes were being floated by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare through CCRH. He also said that every state can avail Rs 35 lakh for holding an Ayush Mela in order to educate the three Ps namely the policy makers, the professionals and the general public. Prof AK Mishra and Prof Kedarnath Naik were lauded by Patsani for bringing out such a good souvenir. The meeting ended with a vote of thanks by Prof (Dr) Gagan Bihari Panigrahi.
