Depends
on Sensitivity
|
| |
|
|
I am personally quite lenient
and will say to take your remedy. If it is effective and then
you drink coffee and you are feeling worse, then this may indicate
an interaction. See what happens when you stop drinking coffee
and take your remedy again. It’s every individual and each
person has different sensitivities. I think it is better to stay
away just in case. Possibly it does antidote the effectiveness
of a remedy not on an energetic level but by harming the body’s
ability to heal. In our practice I have seen the patients who
takes coffee and who does not takes coffee the effect of the medicine
is same.

Coffees
do not antidote high potencies |
Dr.SmitaDebKrori
(Maity)
|
|
Dr. John Henry
Clarke sayings “Coffee do not antidote all the Homoeopathic
medicines. When well-selected remedy given in high potency,
coffee does not antidote the remedy. Coffea is complementary
to Aconite and also follows well many medicines.” I
have seen in many patients also. |

Not
all Homoeopathic Medicines |
| |
|
|
Dr. J. H. Clarke writes
in his Clinical Repertory –Part 4 i.e. Clinical Relationships
of Coffea cruda—this remedy antidotes following remedies.
Amb,Am-m, Ana, Ang, Aur, Bei, Bor, Carb v, Caust, Cham, Cic, Cal,
Con, Cyc, Gam, Gels, Glo, Hy-x, Ign,Iod, K ca, Lach, Lau, Lyc,
Man, Mos, Nux Par Ph x, Phos, Puls, Rhs, Sty, Tab and Val.
This clearly shows that Coffea cruda antidotes above
mentioned homoeopathic medicines and not all homoeopathic medicines.
Hence, my opinion is “Generalizing the term as Coffee antidotes
homoeopathic medicines are not realistic.

Natural suppressant |
Dr.
Ashok Kumar Dantkale
|
|
Coffee is a natural
suppressant of symptoms and miasms, which pushes inwards the
psoric miasm and aspects of it. The psoric remedies especially
Sulphur and Psorinum aims of constitutional homeopathic treatment,
act very largely to bring to the surface and expel that which
lies buried. The two work antagonistically and thus coffee
in the last analysis has to be regarded as harmful to the
overall and long-term health of the patient whether it neutralizes
the action of their remedies or not, while psoric remedies
and homoeopathy in general are good for the patient. |

Exact
Similimum
|
| |
|
|
Even though coffee don’t
antidote any homoeopathic medicines , I advise patient not to
take any Homoeopathic Medicines before tea, coffee, or any strong
smelling food or any liquid. I advise them to take on clean tongue.
I have seen many patients strictly follow the instructions, but
however I have seen with good improvement even in disobedient
patients. My inference is if correct similimum is prescribed,
it will not antidote.
