Here he give a case of Cystic Hygroma cured by Calcarea carbonica. He has a scientific approach with determination to do “Something Significant” and redefine homoeopathy on modern scientific lines.

   A six months old male baby was having a soft, painless, cystic swelling (Cystic Hygroma) on right side of neck since birth gradually increasing in size. The child had a tendency to catch cold yet had profuse sweating all over body. Heat of head that startling in sleep were other marked symptoms. No other subjective or objective symptoms were found in this baby of 6 months. Considering these symptoms Calcarea carbonica was selected on the basis of generalities.

First prescription            10-10-2007
Rx
Calcarea carbonica 1 M single dose was prescribed
Followed by placebo for 2 weeks

Approximately 40 50 % reduction was observed in the cystic swelling.
Rx
Placebo was repeated for 2 weeks.

Cystic swelling (Cystic Hygroma) on right side of neck almost disappeared.

Further and attendants were advised to stop the treatment and report incase of recurrencne.
