COIMBATORE.AUG.19: The Training of Trainees program was inaugurated by Thiru S.Gandhiselvan. State Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Government of India at Agriculture University. Thiru Ramesh Kumar Khanna IAS, Principle secretary and Commission, Directorate of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy presided over the inaugural session. Dr.King Narcius, Nodal Officer and Advisor welcomed the participants.

Dr. P.Subbian, Registrar, Tamil Nadu Agriculture University, Dr.K.Raju, Asst. Director, Central Council for Research also spoke on the occasion. Dr.T.C.P. Nambiar and Dr.S. Manikavel also participated. Dr.Karthikeyan, District Siddha Medical Officer proposed vote of thanks.

Many resource persons participated the training program with interaction with the trainees from government dispensaries and faculties from the colleges.The five days TOT program will follow with another TOT ,later District level training for three days, District level orientation program and distribution of IEC materials.
