Dr.Ravi M.Nair, Former Advisor, Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health and family Welfare is known to everybody in the Homoeopathic community.        He is 67 years old and born at Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. He had his basic Homoeopathic Studies at Kerala and also Diplomat of the prestigious Dip.NIH from National Institute of Homoeopathy, Kolkata. He joined the Government service as Medical Officer then he served as technical Asstt. to Director of Homoeopathy. Academically served and became the Professor & H.O.D. Dept of Materia Medica, Principal & Controlling Officer, Homoeopathic Medical Education in Kerala and finally he served as Advisor to the Govt. of India

       Dr.Nair takes every thing positively to achieve, which had been shown in many of his activities. He was the founder President of Institutions of Homoeopaths and organized many workshops and conferences. His vision is pioneered in many promotional activities in Kerala State in education, planning and development.

       He had served as a member to the various Government committees, Universities, Organizations, and educational Institutions, taking wide visits all over the nation and contributed his guidelines. As a clinician elicited public awareness through Radio talk and satellite Channels. His articles were widely published in various public and Scientific Journals. He also authored and co authored books.

       Now also he is continuing his services to the Government as a Member, Committee of Experts on Homoeopathic Education, Screening Committee for ROT & CME Programme, Governing Body & SFC of National Institute of Homoeopathy, Kolkata, Govt. of India
