Lastly, a unique event of these
dimensions in homoeopathy has happened for the first time
in India and NIH had the honor to host this mega event of
knowledge, culture and tradition, all bounded into one. It
was also a befitting tribute to Master Hahnemann that the
event happened to be organized on the bi-centennial year of
'Organon of Medicine' written by Hahnemann, happening at Kolkata,
the cradle of homoeopathy, where homoeopathy came first in
India.

The NIH has taken a leadership in
coordinating all the governmental and non-governmental organizations,
institutions, publishing houses and manufacturing firms in
the field of homoeopathy and brings them together on one platform.
The whole thing has enthused and inspired the homoeopathic
fraternity and given a message of unity among homoeopaths.
India today is top most in the world in the field of education,
organised research and drug industry in homoeopathy with mass
acceptance of this medical discipline. The whole event and
particularly the contribution of allied scientists at the
seminar shall open up new areas of interaction between the
Homoeopathic professionals and the basic scientists. This
interaction shall give an impetus in Homoeopathic Research
and Development, because of the close interaction by the students,
interns, Post Graduate scholars, Teachers and practitioners
of Homoeopathy with various Research Scientists from basic
sciences.
Most importantly, overwhelming support
was received from the Dept. of AYUSH, Ministry of H &
FW, Govt. of India, from the time concept of the seminar took
place, to throughout the pre-seminar preparations and in conducting
the seminar.
