A painful case of shingles brought him to the care of a colleague
who was studying homeopathy, and the resulting miraculous
cure inspired him to study homeopathy, initially for the care
of his own family. Homeopathy gradually took over his professional
practice, as his patients implored him to "treat me like
you'd treat your family.
