Marthandam,July 11: Institution of Homoeopaths Tamilnadu and Indian Homoeopathic Medical association jointly organized a seminar at Marthandam. The Seminar was inaugurated by Health Minister of Tamil Nadu Thalavai sundaram. MLA T.Mani, President of IIHP Dr.Oomen. Principal of Saradha Krishna Homoeopathy Medical College Dr C.K.Mohan ,Dr.Regin Richard and TNHA KK chapter president Dr Chidambara Natarajan were the participants.

Dr.M.K.Sahani presented his lectures on “Interpretation of Mind in Homoeopathic Prescription” and “Drug transmission and Homoeo pathy” Dr.R.Gnanasambandam presented an audiovisual case on “Spirit of Homoeopathy in Thyroid Disorders"

Dr.N.V.Sugathan, secretary welcomed the gathering. Dr.Winston Verghese organizing chairman proposed vote of thanks. Dr.S.Bootha nathan, Dr,Chandrahasan and Dr.Sathesh coordinated the occasion.


 New Office bearers for KQHDA
 

Bangalore, July.14: The Karnataka Qualified Homoeopathic Association new office bearers were elected for 2004-2006 by the KQHDA. Dr.H.L.Swamy was sworn in as president of the Association and Dr.N.Srinivasalu was elected as General Secretary. Dr.S. Dinesh was installed as joint secretary; Dr.G.Hema sri as treasurer. Dr.Praveen Kumar was declared to hold his position as President Elect; The Executives are Dr.Sabastain Prabhakar, Dr.P.K.Suresh and Dr.N.R.Rangasai Dr.B.D. Patel who served for more than a decade, is patron of to the Association


 
Live cases - workshop
 
 

Pondichery, July 17: Dr Koppikar Foundation for Homoeopathy and Sri Aurobindo Ashram jointly organized a live case workshop. The workshop started after small introduction, Dr. Kishore Mehta recorded the first case, and Dr. D.P.Rastogi followed the second case. The program was telecasted through a television network, where the physicians are gathered in a hall. Participants were divided into groups; discussions on case processing, management and prescription were carried out.

Dr.Mohamed Aleem, President of the foundation and Dr.P.V.Venkataran Joint secretary had organized, introduced this new theme of study Dr Dr.Pachegaonker and Dr Aarthi Sharma co ordinated this new venture


IIHP Chapter at Amristar
 

AMRITSAR, JULY 11: Indian Institute of Homoeopathic Physicians gets one more branch at the holy city in Punjab state. The inaugural and installation ceremony was held at Hotel Amritsar International. Dr.Ranbir Singh Josan was sworn as chapter’s President and Dr.Harpreet Singh was installed as Secretary. Dr.Nirmal Singh holds his position as Vice President; Dr.Suman deep Kaur as Joint secretary and Dr.Narinder Chohan as Finance secretary. Executive committee members include Dr.Jatinder Pal Singh, Dr.Tejinder Singh and Dr.Sarabjeet Singh.
The dignitaries from IIHP head Dr.S.S.Vithal, Dr.Avtar Singh Aneta, Dr.Tanvir were also present and convened the ceremony. A scientific session on Herrings law of cure was also held. Dr Jasan had organized this event

BANGALORE, JUNE.5: Karnataka Qualified Homoeo pathic Association KQHDA and Institute of Classical Homoeo pathic Research Foundation has organised seminar at Bangalore on “Artistic way of Scientific Prescription.

Dr J.P.D Castro, Director of Institute of Homoeopathic Medical education and Research, former Honorary president to president of India, started the workshop with the topic “Where Homoeopaths fail? “He also carried out the topics like artistic use of Repertory in practise and prescription on body language. Dr.Dhole, principal of Homoeopathic Medical college, Amaravathi has spoken on different parameters of Nat Mur in curing diseases.

Dr.B.D.Patel, former principal of government Homoeopathic Medical Colleges Bangalore and Chandigarh presented lot of Audio Visual cases.

Dr.H.L Swamy, president of KQHDA welcomed the gathering and Dr.Praveen kumar proposed vote of thanks. The Auditorium was packed by the delegates from Mahastra, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka

Paediatric Neurology seminar at cuddapah
 

 CUDDAPAH, JULY.12: A National seminar on Paediatric Neurological problems-Role of Homoeopathy organized by Indian Institute of homoeopathy, sponsored by N.T.R University of Health sciences was held at Cuddapah Homoeopathic Medical College. Honorary adviser of IIHP Dr.G.L.N Sastry inaugurated the seminar The Head of Paediatric Neurology in Osmania Medical College P.Nagabhushana Rao said in Viral Encephalitis mortality has reduced in children after using Homoeopathic Medicines. Dr.N.S.Prasant, Member of National assessment and Accreditation Council, Dr.M.A.Rao,. Editor of Rational Physicians, Dr.K.R.K.Prabhakara Murty, National Secretary General of I.I.H.P, of Dr.M.D.V.Ramana Rao, President, A.P.State branch of I.I.H.P. Dr.P. Raghava Reddy, Chairman & Principal, and the Organizing Secretary and Regional Coordinator of I.I.H.P. Dr.G.Srinivasulu, also participated the seminar.

Dr.G.Srinivasulu presented an Audio Visual case on Japanese Encephalitis, Dr.G.S.Muralidhar Rao lectured on Genetics and immunology. Dr.E.S.J.Prabhu Kiran, presented some cases of epilepsy and hydrocephalus treated homeopathically. Dr.O.V.Ranga Reddy welcomed the dignitaries, Dr.V.R.Krishna Kumar proposed vote of thanks.


CME on Epileptic disorders
 

KOZHIKODE.JUNE.27: The Kozhikode District Chapter of the Indian Homoeopathic Medical Association hosts regular monthly CME programme at Hotel Asma Tower, Kozhikode. Epileptic Disorders was the topic for June month.

In the morning Session on Epileptic Disorders – An Overview, Dr. Srikumar G. Consultant pediatric Neurologist at the Center for Epilepsy and Neurology, made a compelling presentation on the classification, diagnosis and pitfalls in the management of epileptic disorders.

The afternoon session on the “Homoeopathic approach to epileptic disorders” was lead by Dr. K.Saji, a postgraduate in Repertory from the Calicut Homoeopathic Medical College. He stressed the importance of understanding and differentiating the effect of anti-epileptic drugs from that of the original disease picture.
Dr. VM Janakikutty, Principal in charge of the Govt. Homoeo pathic Medical College, Calicut inaugurated the programme The Chapter President, Dr. T.K. Harindranath chaired the meeting. Around 60 homoeo paths from Kozhikode and nearby areas attended the workshop.

Homoeopathy Camps to prevent Dengue outbreak
 

NAGERCOIL, JULY 6. Health Minister, N. Thalavai Sundaram, inaugurated a homoeopathy camp at Karunkal and distributed anti-dengue tablets. Minister said the had directed the Department of Health to organise special homeopathy camps in all villages affected by fever. Earlier

The district administration had taken steps to eliminate mosquito menace in Munchirai and Killiyur areas where people were being affected with fever. Homeopathy camps would be organised at Pudukadai, Painkulam, Kollencode, Vilathurai, Mankadu, Enayamputhenthurai, Midalam, Nallur and Kurumpanai.
Private doctors should inform about fever-affected persons, if any, admitted to their hospitals, to the Joint Director for Health.

The official machinery has been geared up to prevent outbreak of dengue in the district, the Collector, Rajesh Lakhoni, said today. The Collector appealed to the people not to allow water to stagnate in and around their houses.
