Partially similar Medicines

I am a regular reader of your Journal “Homoeo Times”.  Evidence of cure is very difficult to establish. We all know that partially similar medicines also show their actions in majority of our cases. This is our common clinical experience. Partially similar medicines will not be able to hold their actions for a longer period. In this context, I request you not to publish case reports of chronic diseases like psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis etc. where follow up has been done for few months only. At least two year’s follow up is needed. If you go on publishing case reports with follow up of few months where treatment has been done with partially similar medicines, homoeopaths of younger generation will not be benefited. They will be expert in palliative treatment only. May be I have crossed my jurisdiction in giving advice to a person of your caliber. Anyway I am also a lover of Homoeopathy like you.

Editor :
Thanks for your opinion. I regret to write you that many Homoeopaths failed to collect Evidence Based Records in the past. Many skilled homoeopaths are silent due to their lack of time and interest, even though they have cured incurable cases. Now Homoeo Times had taken initiative to bring their abilities. We appreciate the physicians who had given the excellent result with the similimum according to Hahnemann. In deed we encourage the physicians skills to break the criticism against homoeopathy! Now we are receiving excellent cases. You can notice the growth, contents quality for the past 2 years and 10 months duration. We assure that our team will focus as per your advice in future

An eye openers

I would first like to thank you Homoeo Times for publishing my case study in the remedy seeker section in October 06 issue. The guidance given by Dr. Suresh has been an eye opener for me and indeed helped me. I congratulate for your efforts in publishing physicians difficulties in Homoeo Times, which is a storehouse of practical Homoeopathy application. I am highly impressed with the case of palmo plantor psoriasis treated by Dr.P.Mukundan. The photograph plates were especially very good. Also the case of Rhododendron given by Dr.Pameeta Uniyal is very informative. The clinical pathology reports are highly informative and also gives me confidence to take such cases and treat them. Such reports and photographs publication gives us confidence to treat such hard and incurable ailments.

The articles published in Homoeo Times are very informative and satisfy our expectations. It is useful to students, beginners and also busy practitioners. “Pilgrimage to Kothen,” was very much informative about Dr.Hahnemann’s Residence. The eye catchy photographs and monograph gave rebirth of Dr Hahnemann, and fulfilled the thirst of those who cannot affordable to visit this important place. It made us as if we were at Hahnemann’s home. I think this is an important issue.
