Case

Introduction:
Dr. Nitin S. Dhole is a young Homoeopath, doing his excellence in teaching and practice. He is rendering service as a lecture at DKKM Homoeopathic Medical College, Aurangabad and practices in the same city.

A student aged 15 years , male, presented with Herpes The eruptions started on right chest and spread upto right back through right axilla (Photographs attached). He had these eruptions since 5 days.
He has desire for salt and flour. He used to eat wheat flour when his mother cooked food in kitchen. He is chilly; he always used to sleep on abdomen and talked in sleep. His mother told that he is good in studies and in school he is among toppers. He had fear of loud noise since childhood. During interrogation he was slow in answering and his mother told that he is slow in his own work also.

Following rubrics were considered for case analysis:

1. Mind: Slowness

3. Mind: Sensitive to noise
4. Generals: Food and Drinks, Salt, desire for
5. Generals: Food and Drinks, Flour, desire for,
6. Sleep: Position, abdomen on
7. Skin: Eruptions, herpetic

Calcarea Carb was the only remedy which covered all of the above seven rubrics. Calcarea Carb 30 single dose was given with Sac lac for 8 days.

After Calcarea Carb eruptions started reducing within two to three days. By next 12 to 15 days eruptions disappeared totally. Black discolored spots at the places of eruptions are still there. He did not require any repeatation of Calcarea Carb again. Before and after photographs given herewith.
