Has practiced ophthalmology for over 18 years and classical homeopathy for 10 years. He received his MD in 1977 from Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his ophthalmology training at St. Francis Hospital in Pittsburgh and the Scheie Eye Institute in Philadalphia in 1981. Homeopathy called out to him in the form of a seminar given by George Vithoulkas. Karl Robinson, who shares his alma mater with Edward, provided the last impetus necessary to convince Edward to enroll at the Hahnemann Homoeopathic College in Albany, California, in 1996.

Dr. Kondrot has authored two best selling books, “Healing the Eye the Natural Way” and “Miracle Eye Cure”. Both books are solid introductions into his philosophy and practise.         He revised the Eye and Vision chapters in Schroyens’ Synthesis repertory, and in the homeopathic software program Radar in 1997. Edward is actively involved in research related to opthalmology and limits his practice to diseases of the eye.
