A
scholar of rare sensitivity, Dr. Kapoor has a string
of achievements to his credit in the Homoeopathy-related
academic field, which have won for him accolade
from the highest dignitaries of the land. Dr. Kapoor
carries with him the wisdom churned out of nearly
50 years of practice. A widely travelled Homoeopath,
both within and out side the country.
A
brilliant product of K.P. Intermediate College Dr.
Kapoor graduated with distinction in Homoeopathy
from Calcutta Homoeopathic Medical College, then
one of the most prestigious institutions of the
country, bagging the sixth position in the Faculty
of Homoeopathy West Bengal. His brilliance came
to the fore in UK (where he had been sent on government
scholarship for postgraduate training) when he completed
his course in one semester of three months instead
of the minimum requirement of three such semesters.
Dr.
Kapoor further used his good offices in starting
C.G.H.S Homoeopathic Dispensary at Allahabad; a
Homoeopathic dispensary by Rotary Allahabad and
another in a prestigious institution of Hanumant
Niketan of which he is a trustee. Mr. Salig Ram
Jaiswal the then honorable minister of Health U.P.,
after his recovery under Homoeopathic treatment
from a hopeless condition for which he had been
admitted in Sir Tej Bahadur Sapru Hospital, awarded
Dr. Kapoor for his treatment by fulfilling his promise
to nationalize all the Homoeopathic colleges of
UP as well as by opening Homoeopathic dispensaries
with two beds in allopathic district hospitals.
Dr. Kapoor convinced the well-known educationist
and a popular principal of T.C. College Jaunpur
Mr. Hirday Narain Singh about the efficacy of Homoeopathy
and he in turn opened a Homoeopathic medical college
at Jaunpur under the management of the college.
Dr. Kapoor has adorned top positions in government
committees and state advisory bodies and has also
been a member of different working groups of Central
Council of Research in Homoeopathy. The Union Ministry
of Health and the Ministry of Health UP Government
have also nominated him on different committees.
