A Grand Seminar at Aurangabad

     AURANGABAD.DEC.24: The 15th All India Homoeopathic Congress was organized by the Homoeopathic Association of India (HMAI), State branch of Maharashtra in association with Maharashtra State Federation of Homoeopathic Medical Colleges and Central Council of Homoeopathy at Saint Francis High School,Aurangabad. The venue was named as “Dr. Hahnemann Nagar” and the hall was named as “late Mrs. Kesharbai Kshirsagar (Kaku)”

     Dr.S,P.S Bakshi, president, CCH inaugurated the seminar. Dr. Mahendra Singh, President HMAI presided over the function. Organizing President and President of National Federation of Homoeopathic Medical colleges in India and Ex. Minister Shri. Jaydatta Kshirsagar, Omprakash Pokharna, newly elected President of CCH Dr. Ramjee Singh, Member of Parliament Shri. Chandrakant Khaire, Advisor of Homoeopathy to the Govt. of India Dr. S.P.Singh, M.L.A. Shri. Kalayanrao Kale, M.L.C. Shri. Vikram Kale, Mayor of Aurangabad Dr. Bhagwat Karad were amongst the chief guests present for the function.

     Dr. Arun Bhasme delivered his introductory speech. Dr.S.M. Desarda and Dr. V.R. Kavishwar highlighted the purpose of the congress. Almost 4700 delegates from across the country participated in the programme. Delegates from South Africa, Germany, Nepal, Pakistan and Bangladesh were also present.

     The arrangement for the seminar was made in three halls at a time. The main hall was given the name of late Mrs. Kesharbai Kshirsagar and the second & third halls were given the names of late Dr. Anil Bhatia and Dr. Babasaheb Kavishwar respectively. On this occasion the eminent Homoeopaths Dr. Babasaheb Kavishwar, Dr. J.S. Khanna, Dr. Vilas Dangare, Dr. Jaimal Sancheti, Dr. S.A. Kattekari & Dr. P.S. Wadgaonkar were felicitaed with the award for their outstanding work in the field of Homoeopathy.

     After the inauguration, Dr. S.P.S. Bakshi lectured on the topic of allergy.The eminent scientist Dr. Khuda Baksh from West Bengal, Dr. Mrs. Aklpita Paranjape from Bhaba Automatic Research Centre, Mumbai and Dr.N.C. Sukul from Vishwabharti University delivered illuminating speeches in reference to the Homoeopathic system of Medicine.

Bhartiya Swastha Chintan – 2006

     BHOPAL.DEC.2006. Ministry of Public Health, Family Welfare and Medical Education, Govt. of Madhya Predesh has organized a three day workshop on AYUSH system of Medicine namely ‘Bhartiya Swastha Chintan – 2006’.Minister for Health Shri. Ajay Visnoi has personally taken interest in organizing this event. In the session Dr.Ashis Datta, Assistant secretary, Central Council of Homoeopathy spoke on ‘Scope of Integration in AYUSH System of Medicine for Rural Health Services and Primary Health Care’. Dr.Rathin Chakravorty, Member, Scientific Advisory Committee of Central Council of Research in Homoeopathy delivered his speech on ‘Furtherance of Homoeopathic Scientific Research’. Dr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Principal of Bakson Homoeopathic Medical College, Noida, and Dr. (Mrs.) Pradhan, Professor of L.B.S Homoeopathic Medical College, Bhopal also spoke on the occasion.

 

 
Homoeopathic Conference - 2006
 
 

    RANCHI.NOV.25: Homoeopathic Medical Association of India Ranchi unit has organized state conference (Bihar & Jharkhand ).The conference was inaugurated by Dr. Ramjee Singh,the elected President, Central Council for Homoeopathy. The Scientific sessions included the presentations by Dr.Kulwant Singh on “Spondilities and Miasmatic consideration”, Dr.S.Haque on“Homoeopathic Approach of Diseases of Joints”, Dr.Rajat Chatterjee on “Cardiovascular Disorder and its Homoeopathic Approach”. Dr.R.Dubey and Dr.L.M.Khan widened the field of vision in case presentation with Miasmatic concept; Dr.Birendra Srivastava on “Chikungunya” Dr.M.K.Sahani on “Essence of Study of Medicine and it’s Scientific Approach”. Dr.H.P.Narayan, Dr.Kamlesh Rach, Dr.Asish Jaiswal, Dr.P. Banarjee of Kolkatta and Dr.Daya Sankar also presented papers. A Quiz contest for the students was also held.

    Dr.P.K.Singh welcomed the gethering, the organizing Secretary Dr.N.Kumar submitted the secretarial report and the event concluded with vote of thanks by Dr.Samar Singh.

Homoeopathic Medical Complex Inaugurated
 
   

     VADODARA.DEC.2. Health Minister of Gujarat, Shri Ashok Bhat inaugurated the OPD Services of the newly built Smt. Malini Kishor Sanghvi Homoeopathic Hospital and Educational Complex near Vadodara.

     Dr. Ramjee Singh, Vice President, CCH; Dr. Eswara Das, Deputy Advisor, Homoeopathy, Dept of AYUSH, GOI; Shri Naresh Kanodia, MLA; Dr. R. D. Patel, Deputy Director, AYUSH, Govt. of Gujarat; Dr. V. R. Kavishwar, Principal, Panchasheel Homoeopathic Medical College, Khamgaon and Dr. J. K. Patel, newly elected CCH members from Maharashtra and Gujarat graced the occasion. Principals of Vyara, Surat, all colleges of Baroda, Dr. V. V. Dave, College of Anand, Colleges of Mehasana, Amdavad, Godhra and Danger college from Rajkot Participated. Senior Homoeopathic Practitioners from various parts of Gujarat also participated in the inaugural ceremony.

 

 
Spirit 06

    ANAND.JAN.12: Dr. V. H. Dave Homoeopathic Medical College celebrated its 33rd Annual Day at their college. The 33rd annual day celebration was named “SPIRIT-‘07". Dr. R. D. Patel, Asst. Director of ISM & Homoeopathy, Gujarat state; Mr. J.P.Dave, President, Gujarat homoeopathic society; Mr. Mohanbhai Mistry, Secretary, Gujarat homoeopathic society; Dr. V.V. Dave, former Principal participated as Guest of Honour. Special programs academic and Cultural events were also held in which the students, interns and post graduate students participated actively. Certificate of Excellance was distributed to the outstanding students in studies, sports and social activities.

It was quite inspiring when, Dr. P.C.Dave, principal, in his speech gave the meaning of the name of function SPIRIT-’07 – “Students’ and professors’ integrated relationship in talents”. The lecture of Dr. Leena Dighe, Vice Principal was also inspiring. Dr. Prajapati and Dr. Sharma organized this event and concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. K.B.Shah.

     A Book on “Medicine Voyaga Through Time”, authored by Dr. Arun Bhasme, has been released by Dr. S.P.S. Bakshi ,President,CCH on the occasion of 15th All India Homeopathic Congress at Aurangabad.
 

 
Dr.Narayan Debnath Elected
     Dr. Narayan Debnath has been elected from Assam to represent Central Council of Homoeopathy. 393 vote were polled and declared elected with 226 votes.

 
Excel 2007
  IHMA , Tiruvalla chapter organized a training program for effective repertorisation for acute diseases by Dr.K.R.Mansoor Ali MD Lecturer, Government Homoeopathic Medical College, Kozhikode.

Dr. Thomas Schariah organized this program at Bodhana Training Centre, Thiruvalla on 21st January 2007.

 
Promote Homoeopathy -Nepal Health Minister
  
       Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health and Population Amik Sherchan said the government should promote homoeopathy, as it is the most accessible, affordable and appropriate treatment for the general public in the country.

     “If we promote homeopathy, we can deliver service to a large section of the population in the country as allopathic treatment has gone beyond the reach of Nepali people,” Sherchan said.

 
Scholarship
  
    Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Manmohan Singh gave away 33 scholarships to children of ex-servicemen, paramilitary forces and Railway Protection Force personnel, here today. The Prime Minister distributed certificates and cheques for the first six month period to these students of which 26 are pursuing BE /BTech Degrees, 2 each are doing MBBS and BDS and one each in fine arts, Homoeopathy and law.
