Homoeopathic Seminar at Rajkot |
 RAJKOT.DEC.21:
The Homoeopathic
Association of India (HMAI) Gujarat state hosted
the 15th All India Homoeopathic Seminar at Hemu
Gadhavi Natyagruh. The State Health Minister Shri.Ashok
Batt inaugurated the seminar. Dr.S.P.S.Bakshi,
President , Central council for Homoeopathy, Dr.Bhakar
Batt, Secretary General HMAI,Dr.Kamesh Joshipura,
Vice Chancellor of Saurastra University, Dr.Ramjee
Singh elected president, CCH also participated.
Dr.Praful
Barvalia,Dr.Adit Chinthanwala, Dr.S.P.S.Bakshi,
Dr.Rajan Sankaran, Dr.Sehal, Dr.Jatin Walia, Dr.Parinaz,
Dr.Koshore Metha, Dr.Piti Shah and others presented
scientific papers in the 3 day conference. More
than 1500 delegates gathered from all over India
and abroad. |

HOWRAH.DEC.28. United Homoeopathic Medical Practitioners
Association (UHMPA) organized a three days 13th Annual
Homoeopathic conference at Baniniketan Institutional Hall,
Ramrajatala. Mr. Aural Mukarjee, journalist inaugurated
the conference and Mr. Gopal Mukarjee, Mayor, Howrah Municipal
Corporation was the chief guest.
Dr.Sisir Chakraborthy, president of the organization presided
over the function.
Dr.Auict Banerjee, T.S Homoeopathic Medical College, Dr.P.R.Sur,
Botanical Survey of India, Dr.Jaganath Battacharya, Dr.Solyosadhi
Ghosh eminent in the field participated the scientific
session.
The conference was attended by 300 delegates. Delegates
from Bengaladesh also participated. Dr.Rahunath Mukherjee
proposed vote of thanks.

Coimbatore Tamil Nadu Homoeopathic Association hosted a seminar
“Homoeo Vistas 2008 “at Kumaran Kalyana Mandapam.
Thiru R. Venkatachalam, Mayor of Coimbatore Corporation inaugurated
the seminar. Dr. R. Gnanasambandam, President, Tamil Nadu Homoeopathy
Medical Council unveiled the portrait of Hahnemann, Dr. Thamarai
selvan, welcomed the gathering. Dr. G. Suresh, Dr. R. Rajendran,
Dr. Rufus Nathanieal, Dr. Cheramanan, and Dr. T.C.P. Nambiar participated
in the function
The scientific seminar followed with the presentation of Dr. B.T.
Rudresh, Dr. Pravin Kumar and Dr. P.V. Venkatraman.

CHENNAI.JAN.10: The results for the election
for Central council for Homoeopathy in Tamil Nadu
were declared today. The Returning officer, Dr.S.Gopalakrishnann
declared that Dr.G.P.Hahnemann and Dr.G.Niramal
has won the election. Dr.G.P. Hahnemann got 2,128,
Dr.G.Nirmal 2,058, Dr,Karthikvel 1,279, Dr.Rajendran
947 and Dr.Mallesraj 127 votes out of 4,190 casted
votes. |

Davangere Homoeopathic Seminar |
 DAVANGERE.DEC.30:
The Homoeopathic Association of India hosted a one day
seminar at BIET-MBA Auditorium. Dr.Veerabramhasary, President,
Karnataka Board of Homoeopathic system of Medicine inaugurated
the seminar.
Dr.B.T.Rudresh
presented paper on infertility and Dr.Ramdass, presented on indication
of common remedies in child behavior. Shri.M.B.Dyberi, Deputy
commissioner was the chief Guest and Dr.Srivatsan, Executive Member,
CCH was the Gust of Honour at the valedictory session held in
the evening.

North Bengal Homoeopathic Conference |

JALPAIGURI,
DEC.23: West Bengal HMAI in collaboration with
Cancer Institute of Homoeopathy organized three-day conference
at Ravindra Bhavan, Mrs.Minati Sen, Member of Parliament
inaugurated the conference. Dr.Arin Mandal also participated.
Various scientific topics were presented by Dr.B.R.Srivastava,
Dr.M.K.Barman, Dr.Sukhamay. Foreign delegates Cooch Behar,Dr.Shaik
Shamsur Rehman and more than 500 delegates attended this
conference. Dr.Partho Sarkar organizing secretary proposed

PANAJI, DEC 14: The 16th National Homeopathic
Conference will be jointly organised by the Research Society
of Homeopathy, India and Shri Kamaxidevi Homeopathic Medical
College and Hospital, Shiroda, Goa at the Kala Academy,
Panaji.
Addressing
a press conference today, the Principal of Shri Kamaxidevi
Homeopathic Medical College, Dr Arvind Kothe, said “the
theme of the conference is ‘National Health Programme
and Homeopathy’ and it will have seven sessions
on various topics like national rural health mission,
lifestyle-related diseases, vector-borne diseases, reproductive
child health, mental health, AIDS – case studies
and multi-disciplinary research in Homeopathy”.
Apart
from 500 delegates from all over India who are expected
to participate, delegates from countries like Switzerland,
Bulgaria, Thailand, Malaysia and Nepal will also attend
the conference. The president of the Central Council of
Homeopathy, Dr S P S Bakshi, the advisor to the Indian
government, Dr S P Singh, director of the Central Council
for Research in Homeopathy, Dr C B Nayak and a long list
of eminent Homeopathic experts are scheduled to attend
the conference.

Graduates had formed a new organization “Aude Saphere”.
Dr.S.Vijay Anand was selected as president and Dr.M.Ramasamy as
Vice president, Dr.C.Vijayakumar will be the secretary and the
Joint secretary is Dr.R.Senthil Kumar. Dr.H.Saravanan is elected
as Treasurer.

Jayadass, D.Ramesh, Dr.Sivanadayan, and Dr.Sakthivel are executive
members of the body.

Homoeopathy and other popular complementary therapies
are to be regulated for the first time under a government-by
the new Natural Healthcare Council ,which is being backed
by the Prince of Wales to strike off errant or incompetent
practitioners. It will also set minimum standards for
practitioners to ensure that therapists are properly qualified.
