Diagnostic Quiz and Photo Quiz Winners Receive Gold

   CHENNAI JAN.25: Thiru.V.K.Subburaj, Principal Secretary to Health and Family Welfare, Government of Tamil Nadu distributed the prizes to the Homoeo Times Quiz winners in Fertility 2009 workshop organized by Homoeo Times Journal at Anna institute of Management at Chennai.
    Dr.R.D. Pavalan Asst Professor, RVS Homoeopathy Medical College received Gold Ring & Dynamism Award and Dr.Mayur Prakash Tipare, D.S Homoeopathy Medical College, pune received Gold Coin and Similimum Award.
    Homoeo Times Journal is conducting exclusive quiz competitions “Diagnostic Quiz” for physicians and “Photo Quiz” for students since three years. Last Year the Journal announced one sovereign “Gold Ring” for the Diagnostic quiz winner and one sovereign “Gold Coin” for photo quiz winner. Many practitioners and students participated eagerly. Every month winners were selected from the two competitions and stethoscopes were awarded with a merit certificate and the runners received Excellence Certificate.
    A tele quiz was organized by the journal to eliminate the equal scores for both competitions. Dr.R.D. Pavalan and Dr.Mayur Prakash Tipare was selected . The quiz team recommended their name to receive Gold..

Mother and Child Care campaign at Goa

      GOA.NOV.18: Government of Goa in collaboration with Govt. of India organized State Workshop on Homoeopathy for Mother and Child Care at M. P. Auditorium,Goa in Collaboration with Shri Kamaxidevi Homoeopathic Medical College.
Prof. (Dr.) Dileep Deobagkar, Vice-chancellor, Goa University who was the Chief Guest, inaugurated the workshop Mr. Anand Prakash, Development Commissioner and Secretary to Health, Govt. of Goa presided over the function. Dr. Eswara Das, Director of National Institute of Homoeopathy, Govt. of India was the Guest of Honour to the occasion.
    Dr. Rajnanda Dessai, Director of Health Services, Dr. Deepak Kabadi, Nodal Officer, NRHM and Dy.Director of Directorate of Health Services, Dr. Arvind Kothe, Principal of Shri Kamaxidevi Homoeopathic Medical College and Dr. Datta Bhat, Convener of workshop also participated.
    The scientific session which followed after the inauguration was shared by Dr. Eswara Das, Dr. Debnarayan Kalyani, Dr. Kishore Mehta, Dr. Kumar Dhawale, Dr. Dinesh Rao, Dr. Chandrashekhar Goda, Dr. N.C. National Seminar on Practical Homoeopathy
 
    The first day scientific session was shared with the learned speakers Dr.R.K. Manchanda Deputy Director Homoeopathy, Government of Delhi and Dr.D.P.Rastogi Dr. K.P.S. Dhama presided over this scientific session. The post lunch scientific session was with Dr. Alok Pareekh and Dr.Girish Gupta, Dr. Ashok Mohanty, Editor Aude Sapere This scientific session was presided by Dr. R. K. Manchanda
    The second day scientific session was with Dr.R.K. Shrivastva of Raibarielly I Dr. K.P.S. Dhama, Dr. Nidhi Dhama
    Dr. R.K. Kapoor and Dr. Surmeet Singh Mavi. Mr. Milikyat Singh, Add. DGP, U. P. Police was the chief guest in the valedictory session. Dr. C.P. Singh and Dr. Anurudh Verma presented the vote of thanks.The seminar was attended by 500 delegates from different states of the country.

 
Homoeopathy Convention in Patna

     PATNA.JAN.17: At the inaugural of the 2-day conference of the Homeopathy Science Congress at the Patna Planetarium on Saturday, prominent homeopathy physicians from across the country enunciated the importance of homeopathy science saying despite major advances in the field of modern medicine, homeopathy still paid a vital role in treating patients at a much lower cost.
The event organized to mark the 84th birth anniversary of noted Homeopathic doctor B. Sahni was inaugurated by none other than Patna’s very own homeopathy veteran Dr. B. Bhattacharya
    “The science of homeopathy is closely associated with nature and its wonderful healing powers. By using homeopathic medicines, the patients’ immune system is not damaged in any way and if anything at all, it helps increase the immunity in a patient,” Dr. Bhattacharya, who is a household name in Patna and even places outside Bihar, said.
    Dr. Farooq J. Master, a prominent homeopathy physician from Mumbai, said homeopathic medicines were particularly effective in treating young children and pregnant women and were proven to be very valuable in treating patients with skin or mental illness.
    Other eminent doctors to attend the conference included Dr. Subhash Singh, Dr. Ramji Singh, Dr. Neetu Singh, Dr. Amit Sahni, Dr. B. M. Ojha, Dr. Praveen Kumar, Dr. Vinod Kumar Singh, and Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Singh..

 

 
Delhi to have post graduation courses in homoeopathy
 

  NEW DELHI, JAN 13 :Delhi will now have its first post graduation courses in homeopathy. Delhi Health Minister Kiran Walia inaugurated the course at Nehru Homeopathic Medical College and Hospitali. The college will offer post graduate courses in two subjects - Practice of Medicine and Organon of Medicine and Homeopathic Philosophy.‘Quality education would be imparted at the postgraduate level through modern teaching methodology with state of the art technology,’ Walia said.‘From now on, no student of Delhi has to go out of the city to study homoeopathy at post graduate level,’ she added, saying she believed in alternate systems of medicine for treatment of diseases.

The physical symptoms, mental traits and aspects of personality have to be taken into account to decide upon the medicine.


 
IGNOU launches PG programme in ‘Disability Management’
 

    IGNOU today launched a PG programme in’disability management’ in collaboration with Rehabilitation Council of India.The course seeks to equip the learner for prevention, promotion, assessment, early identification, intervention and rehabilitation for all kind of disabilities, said IGNOU Vice Chancellor V N Rajasekharan Pillai here after launching the course.Candidates with MBBS qualification or equivalent in Ayurveda, Unani, Sidha and Homeopathy streams can apply, and preference will be given to candidates with two years of experience, he said. The duration of the programme extends from one to three years.
