It is Allergic to me! I don’t know anything about it? This article aim to make them intrested and to provide basic knowledge that is required while buying a computer.

Purchasing a computer for a Homoeopathic clinic can be a big and sometimes costly decision for beginners. Really it is worthful and useful to fit our living to the modern era.

I think the following tips may be beneficial to buy a computer. When purchasing a computer, it is likely that you will have a general idea about the computer. The Central Processing Unit (CPU) is the main component where the other devices like monitor, mouse, keyboard, printer, scanner, speakers and other accessories are attached.

First we should look on the configuration of the machine. The configuration involves the Mother board, processors, memory, hard disk CD drive modem and network cords.

The Motherboard is the main component found in all computers. The Motherboard is what allows various hardware components to transfer information to each other. As computers advanced, so did Motherboards; below is a listing of the various Motherboard form factors. It has many slots to accommodate the main components of the system.

The computer processor is and will always be an important consideration when purchasing a computer. Today, it is more cost efficient to look at the different processor manufactures as well as the type of computer processors. I would avoid the Pentium, III, IV, as those models are not nearly as fast or efficient as the Core 2 Duo processors.

Next is Memory, it has always been an important consideration when looking at purchasing a computer. Determine the amount of memory included in the computer as well as verify if that memory can be upgraded in the future. The more memory in the computer, the more efficient the computers will run. Your computer should have at the very least, 1GB of memory.

Hard drives have and always will be an important consideration to think about when purchasing a computer. The hard drive will be the destination of all your files and information. Hard Drive capacity will depend on your needs, 160GB is fine, however it’s always best to buy as much storage as you can afford.

A DVD-rewritable (DVDRW) drive is essential today for making backups and drive images or movies. If you have a sizeable music or video library, play or back them up to a DVD.

When buying a monitor, you have two technology choices: CRT and LCD. CRTs are , the large, bulky units since the advent of the computer age, are slowly but surely being replaced by slim and bright LCDs. The monitor is the thing to do with the working nature of a computer A good rule of thumb is to spend at least a third of the whole cost of the computer on the monitor.

Next Keyboards and Mouse should be brand that you recognize. Even though the Intellimouse (with a scroll wheel) is really useful, optical mouse is good .Buy a printer separately basic and slow. Have a look around - read reviews, look at magazines.

Modem is an essential device that can be provided by your Internet Service Provider. Choose the Broad band service which gives high bandwidth and fast browsing of web pages. Have an email id, to communicate with your patients, friends, to share your files, pictures, videos and to chat.

Now a days computers are available for cheapest rates. A Homoeopath may have to invest from 15,000/- and above depending upon the above said, essential configuarations. Initially buy a computer, learn and enjoy the thrill of computer era. Finally choose your Homoeopathic software that suits you best.
