The computers are a great boon to a busy practitioner. I use computers for
repertorizing my cases - acute and chronic. In our clinic we use, repertory
softwares for acute and chronic cases. In acute cases we can get clear cut
modalities. To search the particular rubric in a book will be cumbersome.
But we can find the rubric in jiffy with the help of computers. In chronic
cases to find the constitutional remedy repertory software is an indispensable
solution..I also use computers to browse the internet - to read homeopathic
articles and news from various websites. The World Wide Web also has many
free downloads of books, softwares and homeopathic trivia. For communicating
with patients who are abroad, email is an excellent tool. The computer is
also useful for giving medical certificates, receipts, printing letters
etc. We can maintain our clinic accounts using Spreadsheets or an Accounting
software. The use of computer in our clinic is multiple. And I can boldly
say it is my best assistant.

I use computer for the
chronic complicated cases. I purchased the stimulare for clinical
use. I had used from my friends desk top with Radar, Cara and Hompath
software. Usually I study the chronic cases with Radar and cross
reference with Cara. Hompath I use as library. I use my computer
to maintain the stock list of medicines, for browsing and emailing.
I have a data base for research study on Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension,
Allergic Diseases and Warts. I have compiled some successful clinical
tips to many diseases. I have scanned the pages from Journals with
separate headings for quick reference. Computer serves me in great
many ways.

world seems to be shrinking. Computer as a tool can open many windows to
doctors and patients to facilitate learning, communication and of course
for consultation too. Computer can widen one's views and vision. Also, modernization

is no way exception. Even though I'm not using any software for patient
management or repertorisation, in many occasions, I found them very useful
and time saving.

field of Medicine and its branches through internet. However, the
efficacy of Homeopathic treatment depends upon the selection of
right SIMILIMUM which in turn depends mainly on the knowledge of
the Homeopath. So, the computer and all the software available are
only 'Aids' to a Homeopath, but not all in all.
