      A male patient aged 65 years complained of burning pain in the urethra and pelvic region, since six months. The urine is cloudy, offensive and dark. No H/o Exposure and urine test shows plenty of RBC. Micturation is painless and no urge. The provisional diagnosis was Non-specific urethritis .His past history showed that he had typhoid fever with mucous stools with bloodstains. On examination his tongue was very shiny like glass, red and dry. The papillae are not visible. Abdomen is distended and tender.
