          Millefolium was proved and introduced by Nenning, a prover of hahnemann’prover union in 1833.Later by Hartlaub and tricks. Authority is found in Allen:Encyclopedia Mat.Med,VI,366

          Millefoilium is an erect pubescent herb, which grows 15cm to 62 cm. This plant is distributed in U.S.A, Europe and around Simla in India. The leaf is grooved. Leaves are alternate, oblong-lancecolate, 5to10cm in length and 0.65 to 1.95 cm in width. Flowers white or pale pink; corolla of disk-flower,5-lobed: Millefolium tastes bitter and peculiar, has fragrant eodour.

          The whole plant is used for manufacturing. Mother tincture is prepared with drug strength 1/10 and the potencies 2x to contain one part Mother Tincture, three parts Purified Water, six parts Strong Alcohol; 3x and higher with Dispensing Alcohol.

          Millefolium is an excellent remedy for the stopping of any kind of Haemorrhages. Profuse,Painless,Bright red and fluid or partly clotted blood.

Aconite patients bleed with great anxiety and fear; it is absent in millefolium. Millefolium has active bleeding; fresh blood, so the bleeding is bright red and profuse. In hamamelis the bleeding is passive; venous, so the blood is dark in colour.
