A five year old male child is under my treatment for his recurrent cold and cough with occasional dyspnoea since 2 years. He also reported swelling and pain in tonsils. He is very calm shy boy and keeps his name as a brilliant boy. He eats alone for lunch and do not want to mingle with others at school .
     He is disgusted with his complexion that his brother is more fair than him. If anybody speaks nicely to him, he never responds to him or her and even does not liked to be touched or looked at by him. He craves for nuts and likes his father rather than his mother.      Baryta Carb 1M may be repeated once a month to boost the dynamism enhance immunity towards the sensitive organisms and to arrest the catarrhal tendencies. In between the child may require based on the follow up, short acting remedies in low potencies to cope up the acute symptoms like cold, cough, dyspnoea, fever and pain etc.

The constitutional, anti psoric remedy Baryta Carb may be changed to another suitable remedy of the boy if he shows predominant symptoms on sycotic or syphilitic miasm in course.
