Seminar at Assam
 

     Nagaon. APRIL.19. Homoeopathic Health Organization of Assam (AHHO) in association with DKMM Homoeopathic Medical College, Aurangabad organized two days Seminar at District Library Auditorium, Assam state. Prof (Dr.) Mahendra Singh, Chairman, Education Committee, Central Council of Homoeopathy inaugurated the Seminar. Dr. Ashis Datta, Asst. Secretary, CCH released the he Souvenir.
     In the scientific session Dr. Ashis Datta spoke on the topic “ Scientificity of Homoeopathy”, Dr.Mahendra Singh on “ History of Homoeopathy

and Homoeopathy as on today”, Dr.Subhas Singh lectured on “Importance of Dream in Homoeopathy”, Prof Dr.Lalit Boron Chakravorty presented his speech on “Role of Homoeopathy in Non – Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus “ ,Dr.J.D.Patil on “Group study in Homoeopathy , Dr.B.K.Nath presented his lectures on “Art of Homoeopathy” and Dr.M.Handique on “Constitutional Treatment “ and finally the secretary of the Assam Homoeopathic Health Organization, Dr.Narayan Debnath spoken on the topic of “Dramatising Homoeopathic Materia Medica”. The seminar was attended with presence of 300 delegates.
     Dr.Narayan Debnath, Dr.Kinaram Bora, Dr.Anup Kr.Nath, Mr.Biplab Roy, Dr.Pramjit Singh, Dr. Dipendra Bora, Dr.Subhendu Sarkar, Dr.Dip Kumar Medhi, Dr.(Mrs). Gomati Debnath and Dr.(Mrs) Rashmirekha Devi organized this seminar.

Public Awareness program
    COIMBATORE. APRIL.10.Tamil Nadu Homoeopathic Association, Couimbatore chapter organized a homoeopathy awareness program and a free medical camp at Coimbatore,tributing and remembering Dr.Hahnemann’s birthday. Dr.Gomathinayagam Dean RVS Homoeopathic Medical College presided over the function and Dr. V.Ramachandran, Correspondent Nethra Homoeopathic Medical College was the Chief Guest. Mr. Arul Nidhi Veda Subbiah, world community centre unveiled the founder’s portrait.
   		  
    Dr.K.K.krishnamurthy, Former Dean Tamilnadu Agri university presented his scientific approach on Homoeopathy. Dr. Jayaraman, Principal RVSHMC and Dr.G.Suresh Nethra HMC also participated in the inaugural address.
    Dr.Pavaln presented a evidence based audio visual presentation. Dr. Latha, Dr.Gopal, Dr.Thamarai Selven, Dr.Jayaraman and DR.G.Suresh participated in the open forum and answered the public queries. Dr.Elangoven Secretary, welcomed the gathering and the president Dr.Ramaraju proposed the vote of thanks.

DKMM College gets more Buildings
 
    AURANGABAD. APRIL.8. Dr.Smt. Mrudulaji Phadke, Vice Chancellor inaugurated the " Guru Mishri Seminar Hall" and installed Foundation stones for extension of the Academic Building, New Hospital Building for P.G. Research Centre at D.K.M.M.. Homoeopathic Medical College. Registrar, Maharastra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, Dr.V.R.Kavishwar, Shri, Omprakash Pokarma, President, and Dr.C.P.Desarda, SecretaryShri, Guru Ganesh Nagar St.Jain Shikshan Samiti, Aurangabad also graced the occasion. Dr.V.V. Upasani, Dr.Amdasji Ambulgekar, Dr.Sungare, DR.R.D.Tapadiya, Dr.ArunJadhav, Dr.Girish Dhadphale, Dr.Rajiv khedkar, Dr.A.N.Vare, and other trustees and officers of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik were present The program was organised by Dr.Pawan H.Dongre, Dr.D.D. A tribute to the founder
    GUNTUR.APRIL.23: The Indian Institute of Homoeopathic Physicians, East Godavari unit paid their tribute on the eve of Dr.Hahnemann 251st birthday, organizing a seminar. Dr.B.Sohan Singh, CCH Member inaugurated the scientific session. Dr.G.Bhaskara Rao, G.S.L. Trust Medical College garlanded the portrait of Dr.Hanhnemann.

    The scientific session covered on different scientific topics covered by eminent personalities Dr.S. Praveen Kumar, Dr.E.P.Satyaprasad and Dr.A.Padmalatha . National Secretary General Dr.K.R.K. Prabhakara Murthy and State President Dr.MDV Rawara rao participated this function graced the function.

Asthma Awareness program

 
    CHENNAI.MAY.7: Asthma awareness program was hosted by Asthma and Allergy Research Center at Bhartia Vidya Bhavan, Mylapore.
Dr.Sridhar, renowned chest physician represented the modern medicine by his innovative Audio Visual speech on
Asthma.

    Dr.R.Gnanasambandam presented a speech on the effectiveness approach and curative aspects on Asthma and hidden causative factors.
   Dr.V.Jamuna, Siddha physcian represented their system on effectiveness. Mrs Bharathi Basker, a well-known Tamil speaker presented a very innovative speech. Mr Abdul Jafar, a popular media personality, compeered this program.

    Mr. Murali, a well-known personality participated as chief Guest, hounoured the speakers, participating as chief Guest to the occasion. Sri Krishna sweets co sponsored this awareness program. The public response was very good and interaction also benefited them.

Protest against Reservation
    LUDHIANA, MAY 15: The teachers, interns, residents and senior residents of Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) today held protest against the reservation proposed by the union government. Around 40 students from Baba Jaswant Singh Dental College (BJSDC) and Lord Mahavira Homoeopathy College (LMHC) also participated in the protest
Dr.M.R.Srivatasan Elected again
      BANGALORE. APRIL.12: Dr.M.Srivatsan had been declared elected as member to the Central Council of Homoeopathy representing the Karnataka state. Dr.Santhkumari Returning Officer cum Deputy Director announced that he had been elected with 1448 votes with a margin of 553 votes.

Role in diagnosing Disease
DHAKA. MAY.7: Bangla desh President Lajuddin Ahmed said homoeopathic system of medicine could play an important role in diagnosing diseases and treating poor people side by side with allopathic method in the country addressing the Homoeopathic Help Line Welfare Organisation (HHLWO).
