AYUSH secretary inaugurated the workshop
on Scientific and Medical Writing |

Central council of Research in Homoeopathy held
a 2 days workshop on Scientific and Medical
writing at its head quarters Smt.S.Jalaja, secretary
AYUSH inaugurated the workshop. Dr.Shiv lal,special
DGHS (PH) and Director, National Institute of
communicable Diseases and Dr.Diwan Hari chand,
chairman scientific advisory committee,CCRH
were the Guest of Honour.
Smt.Jalaja
in her inaugural address appreciated the initiative
for arranging a workshop on scientific writing
and emphasized on the relevance of the 'sense
of wondering' among the research scholars. She
opined that asking “why” is a integral
part of research work, and AYUSH is in need
of good quality research, which is not only
done in a standardized way, but also properly
documented for adequate dissemination. She urged
the young people to rise up to the occasion
of growing interest in the society about AYUSH
systems and contribute maximally through documenting
the research work.
While
welcoming the guest Prof. C.Nayak, Director,
CCRH expressed that council aimed to accomplish
more in the field of Homoeopathic literature
by further enriching it with more and more scientific
documents. He hoped the workshop would benefit
the researchers and other scholars who are engaged
in documentation of research work, the inaugural
ceremony ended with vote of thanks by Dr.Vikram
Singh deputy director CCRH.
Two publications CCRH aheads… activities
and achievements and Homoeopathic drug proving-volume
III were released at the workshop by Smt.jalaja
and Dr.Shivlal respectively. The publications
are available for purchase at CCRH head quarters.

A scientific Seminar "Dhoom 2009" |

KANPUR.APRIL.2009: The Homoeopathic Medical Association
of India (HMAI),Kanpur south city unit organized a scientific
seminar “DHOOM 2009” at Hotel Deep, Govind
Nagar, Kanpur commemorating the 254th birth anniversary
celebration of founder Dr. Samuel Hahnemann. The seminar
was inaugurated by Ajay Kapoor, M.L.A., Dr.Radhey shyam
srivastava, Dr. V.C.Acharya, Dr.J.C.Nigam, Dr.B.N.Acharya,
Dr.Anirudh verma, Dr.Usha ratnakar Dr.M.P.Singh Dr.P.K.Mukherjee
also participated the inaugural session .
Dr.Sudhakaraudichya, Secretary and co ordinator
of the seminar welcomed the gathering and presented the
annual report. The seminar honoured Dr.P.K.Mukherjee with
life achievement award and Dr.Radhey shyam srivastava,
Dr.M.P.Singh, Dr.Pankaj srivastava, Dr.Harsh nigam, Dr.Giresh
shukla, Dr.Sudhakar audichya, Dr.Sanjay srivastava also
honoured with special awards.
The Scientific session followed with the presentations
by Dr.Pankaj srivastava, and Dr.Harsh nigam, Dr.K.C.Bajpai
chaired the session. Dr.Ajay srivastava proposed vote
of thanks. About 200 homoeopaths participated this event.

Graduation day at A.M. Shaik HMC
|
BELGAUM.APRIL.4: Graduation day 2009 is
celebrated by A.M. Shaikh Homeopathic Medical College, Belgaum,
at Institute of Engineers . The function followed with sung invocation
song by Dr. Jyoti Vijaykumar. Dr. N.M. Mulla, VicePrincipal welcomed
the gathering, Dr. C.N. Tugashetty addressed and introduced the
chief guest, Dr. Sateesh Jigjini Vice Chancellor, B.L.D.E. University
Bijapur.

Chairman and Managing Trustee, People's Education Society and
Trust, Dr. Sabina Abid Ali, Secretary, People's Education Society
and Trust, Dr. M.A. Udachankar, Principal A.M. Shaikh Homeopathic
Medical College, Belgaum and Dr. C.M. Moogie, P.G. Co-ordinator
participated and lighted the lamp.

Ali conferred Hahnemanian oath and the Graduates were awarded
certificates. Dr. Sateesh Jigjini gave the keynote address. Principal
Dr. M.A. Udachankar, gave presidential remarks. Best outgoing
boy and girl student awards were given by the chief guest. Dr.
Lalita S. Nadgir, HOD Anatomy Department and Batch Mentor Professor
of Sept 2003 Batch proposed the vote of thanks.

CCRH workshop on Scientific and Medical Writing |

DELHI.MARCH.24: Central council of Research
in Homoeopathy coducted a 2 days workshop on Scientific
and Medical writing at its Head Quarters. The workshop
encompassed various aspects of writing a scientific
paper, right from giving a title to the conclusion.
Also it covered other issues regarding a paper authorship,
statistical analysis, mentioning references and ways
to submit paper to a journal.
The
speakers included, the learnt and experienced lot
like Dr.D.Behera, Director LRS Institute of Tuberculosis,
Delhi, Dr.Peush Sahni, Editor, National Medical Journal
of India, AIIMS, New Delhi, Dr.Rajnikant, Scientist,
Indian Council of Medical Research ,Newdelhi,Dr.K.C.Garg,
Scientist,National Institute of Science Technology
and Development Studies ( NISTADS),Dr.Abha Aggarwal,Deputy
Director National Institute of Medical Statistics
,ICMR,Dr.T.K.Mukherjee, scientist National Institute
of Science Communication and Information Resources
(NISCAIR) Dr.Hasad Jawed Khan, Editor Science Reporter,NISCAIR
and Dr.Kasturi Mandal, Scientist NISTADS.
As
a part of training the delegates were divided in to
teams and made to write papers on various subjects
.This session was co-coordinated by Dr.Anil khurana,Asst
Director CCRH.A special review session headed by Dr.N.C.Jain,Editor,
Indian Journal of Medical Research, was arranged to
analyse the papers written by delegates and the flaws
in the papers and the way to improve upon them, were
elaborately discussed in the session.
The
concluding session of the workshop included a talk
by Dr.C.Nayak, Director, CCRH on reporting data on
homoeopathic treatments. In his address he also urged
the research officers and other technical staff members
present at the workshop to get more involved in publishing
their research work for dissemination. A CD of the
presentation made by the speakers were given to each
delegate. |

Birth Anniversary Celebrations of Dr.Samuel Hahnemann |
NEW DELHI. APRIL.26: 254th Birth Anniversary of Dr.Samuel
Hahneman and CME program was organized by Delhi Homoeopathic federation
in association with Board of Homoeopathic System of Medicine at
Pearey Lal Bhawan, New Delhi. The program started with continuing
education program. Dr.S.M.Singh shared his experience on Homoeopathic
Management of Bronchial Disease. Dr.R.K.Manchandra Dy.Director,
Delhi Government discussed the facts about Bronchial Asthma, stimulants,
common allergens, additional associate symptoms, prevention and
remedies. Dr.Duryani, Dr.Banerjee, Dr.A.K.Gupta, Dr.B.T.Banerjee
also participated the session.

kumar walia Minister for Finance Planning and Urban Development
Govt of Delhi, Dr.K.K.Juneja, chairman, Board of Homoeopathic
System of Medicine, Delhi Dr.Adithya kaushik vice chairman, Board
of Homoeopathic System of Medicine, Delhi, Dr.Anil Kumari Malhotra,
principal NHMC, Dr.R.C.Aggarwal, Dr.ST Hasan, Dr.A.K Gupta paid
their floral tributes to the portriat of Dr.Hahnemann.

also released the souvenir, Dr.K.K.Juneja presented memento to
Dr. A.K.Walia Dr.S.M.Singh Dr.J.D. Duryani, Dr.Kalyan banerjee
Dr.B.J. Banerjee, Mr.Mahesh kapoor, Director Asaid village Mr.Shrestha,
president SBL , Dr.Anil K.Malhotra, Dr. Ritu arora Dr.Priam singh,
Dr.Vijay chauhan also honoured with awards presented by Dr.A.K.Walai.
On this occasion, Life Time achievement Award was presented to
Dr.R.K. Vlhra, Dr.S.S. Sehrawat, Dr.Sushila konodia, Dr.Seema
gupta and Dr.S.C.Gupta. Hahnemann Award was received by Dr.Ashok
diwan, Dr.Mukul jain, Dr.Pinky aggarwal. Program ended with dinner
session at late night..

Dr.A.K.Mukherjee an
eminent physician of Kanpur passed away on 5th April 2009
following his long illness at the age of 80. He worked
through his life for the upliftment of Homoeopathy. He
was honoured with many Awards. He survived his wife and
son Dr.Deepaker Mukherjee. All the doctors paid their
tributes to the departed soul and paid their condolences.
