One of my friend aged 23 years has Acne Vulagaris since two years. The lesions are more on the face and back. Recurrent eruptions leave scars in face, he has 3-4 sebaceous cyst in the back for which physicians advised him surgery. He has constipation and laxatives do not worked for him. He is thin built, highly impulsive to work hard and earn more money .He is highly purposive and do not mingle with strangers. He had tried many antibiotics and also applied many creams; finally he was prescribed Thuja lm monthly dose, but no improvement in acne or sebaceous cyst. After taking Thuja hair growth increased very much on face, hand and legs. Another complaint is dry cough which was worse with dust exposure, particularly riding his bike; early morning and in winter .He has nausea for Milk smell and acne got worsened with fatty food. Please guide him with suitable prescription and follow up.

Based on the given information, Thuja seems have worked on this patient. But change in the acne or sebaceous are not yet perceptible. Since you say the hair growth has increased after Thuja I have come to this conclusion. Suggestions for follow up. If the last dose of Thuja has been very recent please wait one more month with out repeating Thuja, if not you may try the most suitable according to you among the following medicines.
- Kali brom
- Radium bromide
- Bromium
- Carbo animalis

Since these are all remedies have wide clinical applications in both skin as well as respiratory ailments. This is practical suggestion for clearing the picture of the patient and should not be taken as the ultimate decision. If improvement does not come, please do a fresh study of the case and repertorise.
