A ‘Handbook on Homoeopathy for Mother and Child Care’ has been prepared by the Council containing information on various conditions during pregnancy and childhood, coupled with the strategies for general management and specific homoeopathic therapeutics.

  

    The Handbook has valuable contributions from various gynaecologists, pediatricians and homoeopathic experts.

    It is anticipated that the physicians at the Primary Health Centres and in various dispensaries would find this Handbook useful. It can also be used for ROTP/CME programme for the homoeopathic physicians.

    The pattern of the book is such that it lucidly describes the symptomatology, diagnosis, laboratory investigations, general and therapeutic management of the commonly seen clinical conditions of expectant women and of children.

    Many conditions like bed wetting, nail biting, night terror etc. in children and constipation, headache, pica, pruritus etc. in pregnant woman, which usually lack a detailed description in routine textbooks, are discussed elaborately.
