LM potency is the latest therapeutic system of
the homoeopathy. It may help the practitioner as follows :
i. LM potencies have the advantage of being the most gentle of the all
the ways of doing homoeopathy. ‘Ideal of cure’ can be materialized
with this potency.
ii. LM potency is the most flexible of all the ways of doing homoeopathy.
We can adjust the dose easily to individualize the dosage for the patient.
iii. This potency is best for treating hypersensitive people who prove
all the remedies.
iv. It is also the best for treating chronic diseases, severe pathologies
and miasms, especially the active miasms with discharges and hyper-allergic
reactions.
v. Highest development of power. In this new method of dynamization,
the material part of the medicinal substance is more decreased but grinding,
pounding and succussion etc have been increased much more times. Hence,
the latent and indwelling essence of the material substances develops
to its fullest extent in this way. Hahnemann says, “highest development
of power and mildest in action.”
vi. Medicines of LM potency is milder in reaction. It can be safely
administered even in most fatal cases without fear of dangerous and
violent medicinal aggravation.
vii. Frequent repetition is permissible for even long lasting remedies.
It can be repeated if and when necessary. Even the medicines of long-continued
action may be administered safely.
viii. May be applied through olfactory method. For avoiding medicinal
aggravation LM potency may applied through olfaction.
ix. Least amenable to antidotes. This potency renders full freedom to
both the physician and the patient from the tyranny of centesimal potency.
If the selection is found to be wrong, a new well-selected medicine
may be administered without antidoting previous one.
x. The course of treatment can be minimized to half, quarter or even
more less then that of Centesimal potency. It cures both acute and chronic
patient surprisingly within quickest possible time.
xi. Can face boldly any challenge with the other school of medicines.
