DESARDA SHANTILAL MOTILAL, Executive Member, Central Council for Homoeopathy and Dean, Faculty of Homoeopathy, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad is well known for his academic activities, his name is very popular to the homeopathic Graduates, particularly among the post graduates all over India. He is great administrator, orator and leads every one with his wisdom and kindness. His service is generous and makes the education competitive to modern medical science. He had hosted many celebrations for the upliftment of Homoeopathy.

      He is rendering his academic career as Principal, DKMM Homoeopathy Medical College, Aurangabad and serving as Professor and HOD, Materia Medica .He has 30 years teaching experience in teaching undergraduates and 13 years for Post Graduates. He is a recognized guide of Central Council for Homoeopathy. He also holds the positions as member in Faculty of Homoeopathy, Rajeev Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. Joint Secretary, HMAI (Homoeopathic Association of India) President, Teachers Association, Homoeopathic Medical Colleges, Maharashtra State, Chairman Board of Studies in Basic Subjects, Homoeopathy Faculty, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University , Aurangabad. He has Membership in Senate, Academic Council, and Board of Examinations of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad and also in Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.

      He had been an examiner for Regular Examiner for undergraduate and post graduate courses at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad , University of Pune,; Amarawati University, Amarawati; North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon, SRT University , Nanded; Nagpur University, Nagpur, Shivaji University, Kolhapur .

      Formerly he served as -Principal of Bhagwan Homoeopathic Medical College, Aurangabad. He had authoured Gems of MCQ’s in Organon & Homoeopathic Materia Medica and Pioneer of Homoeopathy. He was recipient of “Mahatma Phule Samata Award” “Best Teacher Award ” “Jewel of India Award”
