    Introduction:

       Dr.Bholanath. is leading clinician , practicing at Jharkhand state in India. He is interested in treating the patients with an eye to make it scientific explanation. He is dedicated for the development of Homoeopathy. Here he presents a case of Renal Calculus.

       A 42 year old male had Left renal calculus, since 7 months. Initially he had pain in the back. Routine examination and imaging study revealed renal calculus. While consulting he presented with dull aching pain which was persistent through out the day. He also had bubbling sensation. He had chest pain on left side since 10 which was of years stinging type pain < motion > rest

    Past illness
    History of left ventricular hypertrophy, filariasis, hypertension

    Physical general
    Appetite and thirst - normal
    No specific craving and aversion
    Burning micturation <urination during
    Sleep disturbed
    Dream-amorous,business of

    Mental General
    Anxious about his future
    On repertorisation from kent repertory following rubric were selected
    · Mind anxiety future about
    · Sleep dream amorous
    · Sleep dream business of
    · Back pain aching
    · Chest pain stinging
    · Urethra pain burning
    · Abdomen flatulence
    On repertorisation the medicine selected was Phosphorous

    First prescription 23/8/2008
    R/x
    Phosphorus 0/1 one dose followed by placebo for 15days

    Follow Up 1 7/9/2008
    No pain
    R/x
    Phosphorus 0/1 one dose followed by placebo for 1 month

    Follow Up 2 30/9/2008
    Patient got severe back pain

    Belladonna 0/1 one dose followed by placebo for 15 days

    No pain

    placebo for 1 month.

    patient was improved, no pain
