     NEW DELHI. AUGUST.1. The Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health and Family welfare has reconstituted the Scientific advisory committee and other special committees for Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy for a period of three years.

     Dr.Diwan Harish Chand is appointed as chairman to the scientific advisory committee(SAC). The government has nominated Dr.S.P.Singh, Advisor (Homoeopathy), Dr.V.K.Gupta, Dr.M.P.Arya, Dr.V.V.NagarajaRoa,Dr.Rathin Chakravarthy, Dr.Satya Narayan Singh,Dr.Pa U Lenin,Prof L.K.Nanda and Dr.Aditya Kaushik as members, Prof. Dr.Chaturbhuja Nayak is member secretary to the committee.

     The union Government has also reconstituted the special committees for Drug Standardization , Clinical Research and Drug proving.

      Dr.K.P.Muzumdar is nominated as chairman to the Drug Standardization Committee, Dr.V.K.Lal, Dr.Rajesh S.Sharma, Dr.G.Nirmal, Dr.Veerabramhachary, Dr.P.V.Venkatraman, Director,Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, Director, Homoeopathic Pharmacopoeial Laboratory and Dr.Probir Kumar Moitra are appointed as members to this committee.

      Dr.Diwan Harish Chand is the chairman for Clinical Research and .Dr.Jayesh V.Sanghavi,Dr.P.N.Varma,The Director, National Institute of Homoeopathy Kolkata, Dr.Augustine, Dr.Sadananda Sahoo, Dr.S.K.Tiwari Dr.V.K.Khanna, Dr.A.U. Ramakrishnan and Dr.S.M.Singh have been notified as members.

      Dr.D.P.Rastogi will be the chairman for the Special Committee for Pathogenisis and Drug Proving and the members include .Dr.Girish Gupta,.Dr.R.K.Saxena,Dr.Ravi M.Nair. Prof.Dr.L.M.Khan,. Dr.R.K. Manchanda, Dr.Alok Kumar and Dr.D.K.Gupta.

     The Director of CCRH Prof. Dr.Chaturbhuja Nayak will be the, member secretary to all the special committees
 
Public Awareness program on Homoeopathy

    

     ERODE.JULY.30. A public awareness program was organized by AKP Homoeopathic Clinical Research Center on "Skin and Hair" at Hotel Oxford in association with Sivanthanar welfare association and Bahola Laboratories. Dr. Sudhir, principal, Vinayaga Mission's Homoeopathy Medical College, Salem presided over the program. Purnima Tanna, leading cosmetologist, Dr.R.Gnanasambandam, leading physician and academician, Dr.P.Mukundan, a
popular physician, Salem spoke on the occasion.

     Dermatological conditions related to skin and hair with descriptive outlines, possibility of cures, were presented as slide show by projection. Hair problems including Hirsutism and Hypogonadism, Skin complaints like Pimples, allergic Disorders, Psoriasis, Vilitiligo, warts and tumours were discussed. The public gathering in good number around 350, participated in the event and many interacted with the speakers in the interactive section arranged at the end of the program.

     A patient with seven years of psoriasis expressed her happiness on no recurrence.

   The Southern Districts in India Chickun Gunya fever is wide spread. Many Voluntary organizations and Homoeopathic oraganisations treat and issues preventive drugs. Umar Alisha Rural Development Trust, Pithapuram, andrapradesh had conducted many medical camps heading Dr. Ananda Kumar Pingali. In Tamil Nadu Erode, Salem, Dharmapuri Taluks many Homoeopathic practitioners in association with voluntary conducted free medical camps and reported that Homoeopathic Medicines are highly effective in treating this epidemic fever.

Homeopathy for incurable Minister says
 
    PANJIM, JULY 20. The Panchayati Raj Minister and the chairman of the Shivgram Education Society, Subhash Shirodkar advised the students of homoeopathy to put in sincere and hard efforts to become proficient in their profession and make advancement in the homoeopathic medication sector.

    He said homoeopathy is one of the independent medical branches of medicine. It is a useful and effective medication system on long term for incurable ailments. Shirodkar added that Dr Samuel Hahnemann the father of homoeopathic medication system. He invented this system of medication. His immense work in homoeopathic medication made it possible to cure long-term diseases. It advancing fast in therapeutic sector and will definitely dominate in the medication system.

     The minister was addressing students at he new academic year of Shree Kamaxidevi Homoeopathic College, Shiroda which began on Thursday.

    The college gave warm welcome to the students of new batch (2006-2007) who have taken admission in the college at a. function held in the college premises, yesterday.

    He said, homoeopathy has important place in the world and the college is striving to prepare the students for competing at international level. Dr. Arvind Koine, principal of the college explained the unique features of homoeopathic medication system and prospect in the profession.

Clinical Meet at Kovai
COIMBATORE.AUGUST.23: The Coimbatore Doctors Association in association with Bahola Laboratories organized a clinical meet with Dr.Krishna Mohan on "Homoeopathic Antibiotics" focusing homoeopathic pathology . Dr. Elangovan welcomed the gathering and Dr.Ramanujam proposed vote of thanks.

Practitioners from neighbouring districts also participated in this clinical meet.

 
Similia Health Academy
     MADURAI. AUGUST.3: A public welfare organization " Similia Health Acadamy" has started functioning at Madurai, Tamil Nadu. This new body will focus the activities on Homoeopathic science promotion and charitable activity.

     Dr.G.P.Hahnemann, the chairman of Board of studies, TNHMC is declared by the body as patron and Dr.Chidambaranathan, Member TNHMC is president and Dr.Rajaram will be the secretary.

     Dr.Palanivelrajan is vice president; Dr. Rajmohan is Joint secretary to the new body. Dr.Vijayalakshmi is treasurer. The Excutive members are Dr.L.Raji, Dr.Asiabanu, Dr.Selvapriya and Dr.Gowri.
  
 
BVHMC issues Health Cards to Rickshaw drivers
     Pune, August 12: Empathising with the cases of back disorders and head aches among auto- rickshaw drivers in the city, Bharati Vidyapeeth's, Homoeopathy Medical College has come up with a novel idea to provide special cards to the rickshaw drivers coming to the hospital for treatment.

     Bharati Vidyapeeth's spokesperson, Anil Bhosale said that the cards would be handed over to rickshaw drivers when they will come in for the check-ups. Bhosale said that auto-rickshaw drivers who come in for the treatment normally suffer from head and back aches, mental tension and pollution related diseases. The rickshaw drivers will be given a concession of 50 per cent in the treatment if they carry the cards along with them.

      The facility of the cards will be available at Bharati Vidyapeeth's Homoeopathy Hospital and Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical Foundation's Bharati Homoeopathy Rugnalaya.
